Job Description
Job Description
Benefits:
- Health insurance
possibly 3 days remote. As an SAP BRIM-Product Manager, you will be the lead for the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) solutions and related SAP S/4HANA components. Partnering with BRIM SMEs, business owners, and technical teams, this role defines value outcomes, manages backlogs, and orchestrates releases that enable high-volume, consumption-based billing, invoicing, disputes, and payments. The Product Manager ensures alignment to SAP best practices, compliance (PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2), accessibility (WCAG for Fiori), and integrates cross-system capabilities (CRM, payment gateways, mediation/usage capture, SAP BTP). Key Responsibilities:
- Own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for SAP BRIM (SOM, CI, CC) and related S/4HANA processes; establish measurable OKRs tied to business outcomes.
- Lead backlog management in Azure DevOps (ADO): define epics/features/user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritize based on value, risk, and compliance.
- Facilitate discovery workshops with business stakeholders and SMEs to capture requirements for subscription management, usage rating, invoicing, taxation, disputes, and payments.
- Ensure solution designs leverage SAP standard capabilities and Fiori patterns to minimize customization; coordinate with architects and functional consultants.
- Drive cross-system integrations (CRM, payment gateways/tokenization, mediation/usage capture, SAP ERP) and data models to maintain integrity and reduce replication.
- Plan and govern releases: define quality gates, readiness criteria, and cutover plans including data migration (delta loads) and business continuity.
- Partner with QA to ensure SIT/UAT coverage and traceability; review test results, defects, and risk mitigations prior to release approvals.
- Maintain compliance with PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2, and security standards (encryption, role-based access); document controls and audit evidence.
- Coordinate change management, training, and enablement; ensure training materials and communications reflect features and process changes.
- Track product performance and adoption via KPIs/telemetry; drive continuous improvement and postgo-live optimization.
- Manage vendor relationships and align delivery with Commission standards, policies, and procedures; report status to sponsors and governance bodies.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 6+ years of product management or business systems leadership in enterprise environments; experience with ERP/SAP programs.
- Working knowledge of SAP BRIM (SOM, CI, CC) and S/4HANA; familiarity with SAP Fiori design principles and user adoption best practices.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps or JIRA for backlog and release management; strong skills in requirements definition and acceptance criteria writing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with executives, business users, and technical staff.
- Experience with payment gateway integrations, tokenization, and PCI DSS controls; understanding of SOC1/SOC2 compliance in product delivery.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP for event-driven architecture and API management; familiarity with mediation/usage capture and rating pipelines.
- Experience planning and executing data migration/cutover including delta loads and reconciliation for high-volume transactions.
- Background in Hybrid Agile methodologies; comfortable with Agile ceremonies and stage-gate governance.
- SAP BRIM or SAP S/4HANA certifications and a track record of measurable product outcomes in enterprise contexts.
