Pay Rate: $25-30/hr. (depending on experience)

Location: York, PA (Primarily Local Work)

Description:

• Cannonball Recruiting is seeking multiple Paving Laborers for a paving and excavating company in York, PA.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record is required
• Previous asphalt paving experience is highly desired
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and work in heat and/or near hot asphalt

Job Duties:

• Responsible for critical hands-on work, such as sealing joints and correcting mat defects using specialized rakes
• Manual labor, such as shoveling /raking/ brooming to finish edges and joints once equipment work is complete
• Quality Monitoring: Constantly watches the asphalt mat for flaws, voids, or inconsistencies and reports issues to the foreman immediately
• Able to use small tools and walk behind road saw
• Able to apply AC-20 on vertical edges and seal new paving joints
• Site Preparation: Cleaning debris and removing obstructions before paving begins
