Digital Communications Specialist
About this Position:
You will own the digital voice for a dynamic community nonprofit. This role gives you complete creative autonomy over our online brand. You get a full benefits package and an abbreviated workweek for genuine work-life balance.
The Opportunity
Montco SAAC is an independent nonprofit organization that has been serving the needs of aging adults in Montgomery County since 1965. We connect people through daytime community activity centers, home-delivered meals, and a vibrant art center. We value real impact over long hours. We need a modern storyteller to elevate our digital presence across multiple platforms. This is an in-office role split between our Norristown and Ambler hubs. You will operate as our sole digital creator with full support from our internal team.
What You Will Do
- Own our social strategy. You will design, schedule, and scale content using Meta Business Suite.
- Keep our digital front door current. You will update our Wix website with new class schedules, menus, and layouts.
- Drive inbox engagement. You will build and launch targeted email campaigns through Constant Contact.
- Tell our story. You will gather content from our community to produce a high-impact quarterly newsletter.
- Maintain the vibe. You will ensure strict brand consistency across every digital touch point.
What You Bring
- Professional experience. You have a proven track record managing business social accounts. Personal posting experience is not enough.
- Platform mastery. You know Meta Business Suite inside and out.
- Technical agility. You can navigate Wix and Constant Contact with ease.
- A sharp eye. You notice the details and possess excellent visual and written communication skills.
- Mobility. You have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to travel between our centers.
Work-Life Balance Realized: We offer a strict 32.5-hour workweek. Your schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. This includes a 30-minute paid lunch break.
- Starting Salary: $41,000 to $45,000 depending on skill level.
