Are you a talented Civil Designer passionate about site design and engineering? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our Site-Civil Team in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Civil Designer to lead and contribute to large, technically complex projects.

As a key member of our team, you will

• Support a multidisciplinary approach to large, technically complex projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior civil engineering staff.
• Lead and support drawing production for building projects using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Prepare civil design models and engineered drawings for plans such as site layouts, underground utilities, site grading, erosion and sediment control (E&S) plans, and stormwater and sanitary layouts .
• Incorporate Quality Control reviews for projects prior to documents being issued.
• Work on elevations, cross-sections, and details of typical site features related to civil engineering.

Here's what you'll need

• Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design, or related field
  • Technical program or certificate, military training, or related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of experience in site/civil design and drawing production
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including:
  • Surface modeling, alignments, and profiles
  • Pipe networks and grading tools
  • Plan, profile, and cross-section production
• Experience with HydroCAD (or similar) for stormwater analysis and modeling
• Experience with AutoTURN for access and maneuverability analysis
• Working knowledge of stormwater management principles and site development practices
• Experience preparing and modifying construction documents for land development projects
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on design deliverables
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory requirements across local and state jurisdictions
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• Experience supporting large, complex or mission-critical projects
• Demonstrated ability to support or mentor junior team members

71,000.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

97,600.00

The base salary range for this position is $71,000.00 to $97,600.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
