Job Description for a Logistics Manager
NPC Global is looking to add a Logistics Manager to our expanding team in Hazleton, PA!
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Responsible for the operations of Distribution, Fulfillment, and the Warehouse.
- This position is responsible for ensuring optimal distribution and on-time delivery of customer orders.
- Responsible for oversight of the multi-site operation.
- Must be able to communicate and work cross functionally to maintain and improve work flow from Customer Service to Operations.
- Provide strong leadership, management and training to the Distribution, Warehouse, and Fulfillment teams.
Qualifications:
- 5 – 8 years’ managerial experience in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Leadership capability, organization skills and ability to motivate a team
- Strong computer skills
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate on all levels
- Strong and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills
