Nazareth, PA
A Day in the Life:
Oversee daily logistics operations while developing a collaborative team focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping activities to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment for our customers who are working on scientific research and healthcare initiatives.
Use Lean methodology and our Practical Process Improvement (PPI) system
Support continuous improvement and optimize workflows while maintaining rigorous compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Keys to Success:
Education
High School Diploma/ GED required (Higher level degree preferred)
Industry certifications like APICS, LEAN, Six Sigma are a plus
Experience
3+ years of warehouse operations experience required
Experience managing inventory accuracy and cycle counting programs
2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred
Experience with cGMP, ISO and regulatory compliance preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and lean methodologies
Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and shipping regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
Experience managing inventory accuracy and cycle counting programs
Multiple language abilities a plus
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various temperature environments (ambient, cold storage, freezer)
Ability to work different shifts and occasional overtime as needed
Valid forklift certification required or ability to obtain
