Position Title: Part-Time Household Manager & Family Assistant

Location: Allentown, PA (Salisbury Twp)

Schedule: 20 flexible hours/week (preferably 4hrs, M-F)

Compensation: $25-$35/hr (depending on experience)

About the Family:

A vibrant, busy household of five-including three active boys (ages 2, 6, and 8)-is seeking a reliable and proactive household manager to become a steady, supportive presence in their home. The family deeply values quality time with their children and is looking for someone to help keep the home running smoothly behind the scenes.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Household Organization & Cleaning

- Daily tidying and general cleaning of high-traffic areas (kitchen, living spaces, bathrooms)

- Light touch-ups between professional cleanings

- Wipe down counters, stovetops, and cabinets

- Bathroom maintenance (toilets, sinks, showers, etc.)

- Occasional car vacuuming and light errand support

- Laundry & Clothing Care

- Wash, fold, and put away laundry for the children

- (Optional) Handle laundry for parents, previously managed by an external service

- Maintain inventory of clean linens, make beds, and change bedding as needed

- Home Logistics

- Unpack groceries and deliveries, organize pantry and kitchen

- Prep and organize kids' belongings for activities, school, and travel

- Seasonal tasks (e.g., rotating clothes, toy closet clean-outs)

- Occasional Childcare

- Provide brief supervision of the two-year-old as needed

- No formal nannying required; comfort around children and occasional support is a plus

Ideal Candidate:

- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented

- Experienced with large family homes and multi-tasking in dynamic households

- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative

- Enjoys creating order and supporting a family behind the scenes

- Capable of light childcare in a pinch, but this is not a child-focused role

- Must be reliable and communicative with excellent follow-through

Home Details:

- 12,000 sq. ft. residence (only sections are in regular use)

- Two friendly dogs (candidate must be comfortable with pets)

- Parents work from home; household helpers are present during the day
