Job Summary
Our client is seeking a TGCM Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain bulk gas and specialty chemical delivery systems while ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, is committed to following safety and quality standards, and is eager to learn through hands-on training. Entry-level candidates with a positive attitude and a willingness to grow are encouraged to apply.
Job Description
- Maintain and operate liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment
- Perform minor inspections and preventive maintenance on gas/chemical equipment
- Conduct daily rounds, including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online systems, and performing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs
- Monitor and execute proper liquid bulk delivery and trailer transfer procedures
- Provide initial evaluations and obtain assistance for technical problem situations
- Serve as an active member of the Emergency Response Team
- Complete TGCM Tech 5 local OJT and qualification requirements within 12 months
- Participate in safety, training, and operations programs
- Support the training of TGCM contractors as needed
- Comply with all HS&E standards (PPE, Forklift Operations, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space Entry, etc.)
- Perform minor analytical and sampling procedures
- Oversee hazardous waste handling, including proper transfer, documentation, labeling, and spill response procedures
Skills Required
- Experience in the semiconductor, chemical/specialty gas, military technical/electronic, or nuclear fields
- 1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Electro-mechanical aptitude and self-motivation to learn
- Ability to abide by stringent safety and quality rules
- Aptitude for problem-solving in emergency or high-stress situations
- A foundational understanding of warehouse functions
- A positive attitude and a high level of adaptability
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check
- Work Schedule:
- Initially Monday through Friday, approximately 8-hour days for one week during onboarding
- Day Shift: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM (exact days to be determined)
- Must be available and willing to work both day and night shifts
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 11 hours per day
- Ability to operate a hydraulic foot pump for 55-gallon drums
- Capacity for constant bending and wearing a respirator as required
- Adherence to onsite face mask mandates
Pay Rate/Salary
- $21/hr for day shift; $24/hr for night shift ($3 differential). Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location
