Position Overview:
The ELL French Teacher will primarily teach French while also supporting French-speaking students learning English . The role involves teaching a small caseload of 4 students across grades K, 2, 3, and 7 , focusing on both French and ELL support. The ideal candidate will be certified in both French and ELL in PA, with the ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment tailored to bilingual learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging French lessons while integrating ELL strategies
• Support French-speaking students transitioning to English proficiency
• Assess and track student progress, providing targeted feedback and interventions
• Collaborate with administrators, colleagues, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate student records, including progress reports, attendance, and grades
• Encourage cultural appreciation and inclusion within the classroom

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid ESL Program Specialist with French Certification for Pennsylvania )
• Experience teaching French and/or ESL strongly preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
