As a Shipping Clerk, you will sort and organize completed prescriptions and prepare product for shipment.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM EST

Location: Onsite, in our Boothwyn, PA facility

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize completed prescriptions
• Use Pharmacy operating software and Dispatch and Routing software
• Use handheld Scanner to capture bar code digital information
• Prepare packages for delivery: print Packing Lists, inspect for accuracy, stage, and route
• Performing other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to multi-task and work with other members of the shipping and distribution team as well as Pharmacists and Technicians
• Understanding of basic production processes for packaging and shipping
• Ability to develop continuous improvements in the shipping department
• Basic understanding of, or the ability to learn, locations and organizational structure of the company
• Ability to correctly sort and distribute large amounts of medications
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance
• Must be able to speak and write English

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

• FedEx Shipping / Overnight Shipping Experience is a Plus
• Experience working in a Commercial Pharmacy is a Plus
• Physical Requirements:
• Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pulling, speaking, listening
• Must be able to occasionally lift bulk packaging weighing up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to traverse close quarters easily
