Responsibilities for a Staff Development Instructor, RN with Phoebe Richland:

Plans, develops, organizes, and implements staff education programming. Provides general orientation to all employees in the Phoebe organization. Provides specific clinical orientation to nursing staff as outlined in the orientation track. Provides coordination of all training to other departments which includes provision of solid training plans and completion of those training plans with the department manager/director. Assures that all departments in the Phoebe organization have competencies related to the employee’s job duties and organizational needs validated during orientation and annually. Participates in the planning, assessment, and implementation of the organization’s educational programs. This is based on the organization’s needs and regulatory requirements. Assists in researching, compiling, organizing and creating educational programming.

Requirements for a Staff Development Instructor, RN with Phoebe Richland:

1. The ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families, and coworkers.
2. Must be a Licensed RN, Certified CPR Instructor or willing to complete requirement. Medication Technician Trainer or willing to complete requirement.
3. Minimum of three years of clinical experience. Managerial and supervisory experience preferred.
4. Medication Technician training experience preferred. Adult education preferred.
