Equipment Evaluator
As the Equipment Evaluator, you are (co-)responsible for evaluating, reviewing and researching various types of equipment to accurately determine values. In addition, you are responsible for reviewing and analyzing current portfolios to determine performance as well as to ensure adherence to Global Asset Management policies. You will be reporting to the Regional Asset Manager – LifeTech Global Business Unit.
You deliver asset expertise to support both origination activities and risk management of the existing and future portfolio of Technology and Healthcare-based assets. It is a proactive role focused on working closely with the commercial teams to identify asset financing opportunities and progress those to closure using residual risk and asset backed structures, as a key tool, to differentiate the GBU in the market. In addition, you will be responsible for working closely with the local Sales Support and /or L&R team members to support asset evaluation needs and transactional asset feedback on an ad hoc basis.
Day to day
- First point of contact regarding (the handling of) asset related requests including the proper assignment of asset model descriptions into company programs.
- The preparation of written asset and vendor reviews for inclusion into credit applications for Risk review.
- Support Sales and New Business Development to identify and pursue commercial opportunities on asset based related activities.
- Provide asset management services to be used for the quoting, structuring, negotiation, approval and documentation phases of transactions.
- Portfolio asset and portfolio impairment management & reporting through the use of AM Reporting Suite and Power BI.
- Liaising with third party asset valuators and other DLL Asset (Evaluators) Managers and challenging assumptions where appropriate.
- Preparation and presentation of asset and vendor reviews and supporting matrices to Asset Management Committees.
- Timely annual review of existing matrices as well as development and implementation of new asset value lines as appropriate.
- Research and recommendations from asset management perspective for prospective new industries and markets.
- Research and review of various countries, local business practices and customs, markets, etc. that may impact asset values.
- Participate in Asset Management related projects (within and outside BU).

Essentials:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, or similar.
- ASA Accreditation preferred.
- Technical background or strong affinity with technique.
- Professional insight and minimum 3 years’ experience in asset management within the finance market and relevant knowledge of Tech and Healthcare Asset Types as well as market characteristics.
- Familiarity with large-scale IT solutions and buildouts (data centers, memory storage, AI infrastructure, etc.)
- Solid insight and experience in management of a regional vendor decision making structure and vendor agreements.
- Logical thinking, ability to represent complex and technical issues clearly and concisely.
- Strong verbal and writing skills in English language.
- A team player.
- Able to work in a multi-functional and –cultural environment.
- Ability to clearly communicate within a network organization.
- Able to find and provide a solution and generate more than one option.

Applicable Pay Range
$134,422.00 - $201,634.00
DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.
This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
