Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Implement therapy interventions following the OT plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with patient and family education to promote independence
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising OT
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• An active state COTA license (or ability to obtain one)
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• A passion for helping others achieve their goals
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
• Patient care and education techniques
• Documentation and record keeping
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Infection control and safety compliance
• Therapeutic interventions
