Engineering Project Manager - Turbine Solutions
- Plan, forecast, and manage project budget and execution from start to finish, working with technical leads and/or group managers, including vital activities, procurements, resources and schedule.
- Ensure projects are delivered with a high degree of customer satisfaction
- Use contract terms and conditions, and various skills to improve scope as well as cashflow, margin, and to limit liabilities.
- Minimize exposure to risk, and make necessary recommendations to management on assigned projects.
- Apply quality procedures and standard methodologies by using appropriate gate reviews. Participate in project audits as needed.
- Work with the sales team, and follow up with the clients to build relationships that lead to future opportunities.
- Recommend improvement to products and process.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent
- 5+ years of related experience in engineering project management
- Ability to travel up to 20% within North America
- Legal authorization to work in the United States withoutthe need for sponsorship now or in the future
- Turbine scope retrofit involvement experience
- Automation controls systems experience (DCS systems, other competitors)
- EPC scope and site management experience (Power plants is a plus)
- Project Management Institute PMP certification
- Master of Business Administration MBA
