Job Summary: The Track/Panel Assembler will be responsible for the final assembly of the tracks and/or panels of our high performance doors.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Use of power and hand tools to mechanically assemble tracks and or panels. This includes sectional, rolling steel, and/or fabric doors.
- Ensure products are being assembled to the highest quality by adhering to established procedures and approved processes
- Work with the highest level of safety.
- Fulfill production orders on time to meet product delivery times
- Use of scanners and computers to communicate production order status
- Provide feedback for process improvement opportunities that would enhance safety, productivity, or efficiency.
- Maintain and improve area cleanliness to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Ability to flex into other work areas as needed
- Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- High attention to detail
- Prioritization skills
- Ability to use hand tools
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Essential Physical Functions:
- Be able to safely lift or move at least 50 lbs.
- Be able to safely climb stairs or ladder.
- Be able to work in cold or hot working conditions
- Must be able to Bend, Stoop, Squat, Kneel
Equipment Used:
The candidate may be required to use a variety of hand tools such as riveting machines, drills, impact drivers, saws, pneumatic air wrenches, and tape measures.
