Senior Pastor

First Baptist Church of Monroeville is a biblically focused congregation located in the heart of the Monroeville, PA community. Following the recent retirement of our pastor and with an interim pastor currently serving, we are prayerfully seeking the pastor whom God has prepared to lead us into our next season.

Our highest priority is the faithful, uncompromised proclamation of God’s Word from the pulpit on Sunday mornings, and preferably through a pastor-led weekly Bible study. Our deacons serve faithfully alongside the pastor, and we are supported by an exceptional office manager who handles logistics and administration.

Our congregation is known for strong fellowship and genuine hospitality. Visitors are warmly welcomed, and relationships are a defining strength of our church. Our membership is primarily ages 55 and above, with several young families and middle-aged individuals, and reflects the diversity of the Monroeville community. Average Sunday attendance in 2025 was approximately 50, with a small but consistent livestream audience.

We are unapologetically biblical in teaching and doctrine. Our Sunday School classes embrace the conviction that “iron sharpens iron,” and in all things we desire to speak the truth in love for the building up of the body of Christ and the glory of God. Worship blends traditional and contemporary elements, leaning more traditional, with music drawn from both hymns and contemporary worship.

First Baptist Church of Monroeville is financially stable, with steady giving and a positive year-end balance. We support multiple missions, including a long-standing monthly Diaper Ministry serving families in our community. Our building offers opportunity for future ministry and outreach. Services are livestreamed on YouTube (First Baptist Church of Monroeville). We welcome conversations with prospective candidates as we seek God’s leading together.
