Staff Accountant

2 Days REMOTE per week. Randstad is excited to be partnering with a well-established firm in the Harrisburg, PA area as they add to their accounting team. Our client seeks to bring on a Staff Accountant who will support the Accounting Manager with a variety of functions. The ideal candidate will need to have excellent Month-end close experience and can manage a General Ledger. Responsibilities

• Ability to understand, interpret, and disseminate financial information to ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Effective communication within and across departments to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely recording of journal entries for assigned general ledger accounts.
• Exposure to month-end close procedures and an understanding of reconciliation and appropriate correcting entries.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
