Full Time Faculty: Business (Assistant Professor)

The Waterbury Reilly School of Business (WRSB) at DeSales University invites applications for a tenure track full-time faculty position beginning in August 2026. We are seeking a versatile candidate with a primary teaching focus in Business Analytics, with the additional ability to teach courses in Marketing and/or Operations Management. Programs in the WRSB are ACBSP accredited and DeSales values a balance of academic rigor and practical application.

Responsibilities:

• Teach introductory and upper-level courses in Business Analytics (e.g., Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Predictive Modeling).
• Ability to teach Marketing, Operations Management, or Supply Chain courses is considered a plus.
• Deliver instruction across multiple programs: Traditional Undergraduate (day), MBA, and Adult Studies programs.
• Demonstrate proficiency and proven experience in online teaching environments.
• Engage in student advising, curriculum development, and service to the university.

Qualifications:

• Education: A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Business Analytics, Marketing, or a closely related field is preferred. ABD candidates near completion will be considered.
• Experience: Significant industry experience is highly preferred to support our scholar-practitioner model.
• Skills: Proven effectiveness in teaching, particularly in online or hybrid formats, is required.
