This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both people and process—helping guests choose beautiful furniture and ensuring those pieces move smoothly from order to delivery.

Position Summary

The Sales Consultant & Furniture Logistics Coordinator supports the full furniture lifecycle: from showroom conversation → custom order → receiving → organization → delivery coordination.

This is a hands-on role that blends consultative sales, operational follow-through, and physical logistics support.

Key Responsibilities

Furniture Sales & Guest Experience Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and build trust-based relationships
• Guide customers through furniture selections (wood species, stains, finishes, sizes, fabrics, layouts)
• Accurately write and process custom furniture orders
• Answer questions and provide updates throughout the order timeline
• Follow up with guests regarding production, arrival, and delivery scheduling
• Maintain a calm, hospitable presence during longer or complex sales conversations
• Uphold showroom standards—clean, organized, and welcoming

Receiving & Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate and receive incoming furniture loads
• Unload furniture safely with care for product quality
• Inspect furniture for accuracy and condition upon arrival
• Organize furniture in warehouse and designated storage areas
• Label all pieces clearly (customer name, order number, location)
• Communicate shortages, damages, or issues promptly to management
• Assist with inventory counts and organization
• Help rotate, rearrange, and reset furniture on the showroom floor as needed

Delivery Coordination & Support

• Schedule deliveries with customers
• Prepare furniture for delivery (wrapping, staging, paperwork)
• Load and unload furniture for deliveries
• Assist with local deliveries as needed (training provided)
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery timing and expectations
• Work alongside delivery partners/drivers to ensure smooth execution

General Support

• Assist with showroom resets and furniture moves
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming work environment
• Support the team wherever needed during busy seasons
• Attend staff meetings and follow established systems and procedures

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to lift 100-200lbs with assistance
• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear communication and follow-through
• Basic comfort with paperwork, order details, and labeling systems
• Valid driver’s license
• Tech Savvy
• Prior experience with furniture, warehouse, deliveries, or retail is a plus (but not required)
