Job Title: Staff Accountant
Job Description
Join our dynamic accounting team as a Staff Accountant, where you will play a crucial role in managing general ledger accounts and related schedules. You will be responsible for the month-end close process and overseeing the risks and opportunities of the balance sheet. This position also supports both internal and external audits and contributes to the seamless operation of accounting processes across the business.
Responsibilities

Complete timely and accurate reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and related schedules, including bank accounts, payroll, credit & purchase card account reconciliations, overhead accruals, prepaid accounts, and lease accounting.

Take ownership of T&E System (Concur) administration, processing, and reconciling to the general ledger.

Maintain the Fixed Asset ledger, including recording appropriate depreciation/amortization and accounting for in-progress capital projects.

Assist in the classification and coding of indirect purchasing.

Cross-train and share efficiencies across the accounting team.

Prepare journal entries as needed or as directed by the Accounting Manager.

Provide ad-hoc financial data to support audits, tax reviews, and other requests.
Essential Skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulas.

Experience with general ledger, accounting, bank reconciliations, balance sheet, month-end close, and journal entries.

1+ years of experience with reconciliations and posting journal entries for month-end close within a US GAAP setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

1+ years of experience with an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, PeopleSoft, Hyperion, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar (excluding purely QuickBooks experience).

Experience in the distribution or supply chain industry is a plus.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with 3 days remote work and 2 days onsite (Wednesday and Thursday) in Radnor, PA. The team operates in a brand-new facility with a great work environment and an onsite café. The team comprises a group of 5+ members, providing an opportunity to support an international organization recently part of an acquisition. The role offers a temp-to-hire opportunity with competitive compensation and flexible leadership.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wayne, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
