Downtown Pittsburgh corporation is in need of Conference Coordinator.
Duties will include:
· Coordinate various components of conferences and events to include transportation, lodging, food/beverage, A/V equipment, entertainment, etc.
· Fully communicate conference objectives with support staff and essential personnel
· Compose and prepare related conference correspondence.
· Manage conference expenses as required.
· Establish vendor recommendations based upon research and negotiations.
· Prepare, reconcile and process invoices, client reimbursements and expense reports.
· Manage and audit conference details through company database software
Requirements:
· Familiarity with Cvent conference platform preferred
· Strong attention to detail and follow-through
· Professional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
· Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
· Excel while working independently and as part of a team
· Able to interact and build working relationships with all level of employees and client
· Proficient MSOffice skills; experience working with conference planning software preferred
