Bid Technical Manager

Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive Rail Signaling expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll lead the Bid Technical Scope to shape the future of rail transportation, ensuring the delivery of accurate and competitive technical proposals that align with our commercial strategy. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Installation, Testing & Commissioning, Project Engineering, Development Centers), provide engineering estimates and compliance matrices, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
Leading the Bids and delivering engineering estimates, compliance matrices, and technical proposals,
Providing the estimate of engineering effort needed for each tender preparation,
Collaborating with Engineering Leadership to manage the allocation of the technical team in line with the bid needs,
Analyzing potential gaps between customer specifications and standard solutions with the support of System Architect(s),
Coordinating the bid's technical strategy with both internal and external stakeholders,
Supporting the Bid Manager during negotiations with the Customer, identifying any technical changes during that phase,
Demonstrating Technical Leadership, Scope Management, Risk Management, Requirements Management, Configuration Control and Change Management, Planning and Scheduling, and System Deployment.

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or scientific subjects,
Minimum 5 years of technical/engineering project management experience and knowledge of Project Engineering Management principles,
- Experience or understanding of Rail Signaling systems and rail industry (or simial sectors: automation, energy, or aerospace) with involvement on project deployment or product development,
Familiarity with the full lifecycle of project deployment until commissioning,
Effective communication skills,
Leadership skills,
Analytical and critical thinking,
Problem-solving ability.
