We’re growing and looking for a Kitchen & Bath Designer to join The Mill Remodeling team.

We design and build thoughtful, high-quality remodeling projects throughout Chester County. Our clients care about great design, clear communication, and a smooth process — and our designers are a big part of making that happen.

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with homeowners to design kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces
• Create layouts and renderings using 2020 Design
• Help clients make smart decisions around layout, cabinetry, and functionality
• Collaborate closely with our sales and production teams
• Turn ideas into clear, build-ready plans

This is a customer-facing role , so you should be comfortable leading meetings, presenting designs, and guiding clients with confidence.

Duties

• Engage with customers to identify their kitchen and bathroom renovation needs through active listening and personalized consultation
• Create detailed layout designs using CAD software and SketchUp to visualize project concepts clearly
• Guide homeowners through cabinetry options, layout decisions, and material selections that align with project goals and scope
• Specify cabinetry lines appropriately, including higher-end or custom options when project needs require it
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate project timelines, materials, and installation processes
• Assist customers with inside sales activities including POS (Point of Sale) transactions, cash handling, and order processing
• Maintain organizational skills by managing project files, tracking orders, and updating client records.

Requirements

• Proven experience in interior design, remodeling, or construction with a focus on kitchens and bathrooms
• Strong proficiency in layout design software such as 2020 and SketchUp; familiarity with lighting design is a plus
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Be an expert in cabinetry, layout, and their components.
• Demonstrated ability in outside sales, inside sales, negotiation, and high-end sales environments
• Knowledge of retail math for accurate pricing, budgeting, and upselling strategies
• Experience with CRMs, product demos, marketing initiatives, and customer service excellence
• Organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and project estimations

Pay: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
