The Automotive Accounting Professional helps with general accounting duties.

The Automotive Accounting Professional will accumulate, record and maintain business transactions, and will foster financial integrity in the workplace, safeguarding customer personal records and reporting all non-compliance. This position is expected to respond and support departmental managers requesting additional information affecting their individual departments.

Role and Responsibilities

• Processes daily financial transactions

• Assists in daily operations of the accounting department

• General account reviews and correcting entries.

• Cut Checks

• Journal Entry posting

• Reconciliation of billing statements

• Upholds company policies and adheres to all company standards

• Superior communication, customer service, leadership, organizational and analytical skills

• Responsible for regular accounting related transactional activity, for accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks, meeting deadlines and commitments, and obligations requiring additional hours.

• Maintains a professional appearance, and work environment.

• Attends pertinent and mandatory company wide training.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma – Required

• General Bookkeeping or Public accounting experience – Preferred, not required

• Automotive Accounting or Accounting Degree – Preferred, not required
