Leading patient-centric support and technology provider for the biopharmaceutical and healthcare industries, Serva Health, is seeking a talented and experienced Reimbursement Specialist to join the team!

We are seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to add to grow expand our Patient Access Services (Hub Services) division for buy and bill pharma manufacturers and to support top-level executives in the company.

Responsibilities:

• Determining insurance coverages, out of pockets and co-pays on behalf of patients
• Facilitating the prior authorization process
• Conducting the benefits investigation and benefits verification
• Identifying alternative funding research and conducting administrative tasks in support of the patient’s enrollment into the program

Reimbursement Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited U.S. based institution a plus
• 1+ years of reimbursement experience working with insurance companies / payers (including buy and bill strongly preferred)
• Minimum 3+ preferred years of professional work experience exemplifying strong communication skills and administrative competency
• Ability to interpret, capture and document the details of insurance payer conversations, in a timely and efficient manner
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.), video conferencing software and data entry systems
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Must be a self-starter
• Must be comfortable working independently or as part of a team
• Strong interest in growing within an organization, potentially into a leadership opportunity
• Reimbursement experience within pharmaceuticals and/or specialty pharmacy

Preferred:

• Experience with the prior authorization process
• Experience with Alternative Funding Research

A Plus

• Experience with leading and training new team members
• Experience with Patient Assistance Program administration
