The University of Scranton Department of Chemistry invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in organic chemistry beginning in Fall 2026.
Essential
Duties:
The department offers ACS certified BS degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry, a BS in Forensic Chemistry, and MS degrees in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Clinical Chemistry. The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in organic chemistry as well as introductory chemistry courses (9-12 credits per fall and spring semesters). Additional Skills Required:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in organic chemistry or a closely related field at the time of appointment.
