Job Title: Medical Claims Coordinator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Claims Coordinator to join our client’s growing team and play a vital role in supporting healthcare operations. This fully remote, contract-to-hire position (with potential for permanent placement based on performance and business needs) is open to candidates located in CST or EST time zones. The role focuses on accurate processing of medical claims, ensuring documentation is properly managed, and meeting daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
• $18/hour

Work Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, standard business hours in your local time zone

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Claims Coordinator:
• Accurately enter and process medical claims and attach correct supporting documentation.
• Ensure claims data is complete, accurate, and compliant with internal standards and HIPAA regulations.
• Learn and utilize proprietary claims software and other internal tools.
• Meet daily performance targets, with a goal of processing 40 claims per day.
• Support the claims team by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members in a positive and effective manner.

Qualifications and Skills for the Medical Claims Coordinator:
• Previous experience with medical claims or insurance preferred, with knowledge of industry terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with high-volume data entry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare or insurance background is a plus.
