Full Time Rheumatology Job Pittsburgh, PA

The Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is seeking a dedicated, collaborative rheumatologist with superb clinical acumen to join our team as a full-time physician. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to provide specialized, interdisciplinary care to patients with Sjogren's Disease at the UPMC Sjogren's Disease Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in participating in Sjogren's clinical trials to advance both patient care and research. Experience in musculoskeletal and salivary gland ultrasound would be a highly advantageous asset.

• Must have an MD or equivalent
• Be board certified in Internal Medicine and be BC/BE in Rheumatology with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.
• Must have completed an accredited fellowship in Rheumatology. H1B sponsorship available

Opportunity Details

• 4-day work week
• Dedicated clinics at the University of Pittsburgh Sjgren's Disease Center
• Minimum of 12 inpatient weeks and 12 inpatient weekends per year
• Provide quality rheumatology instruction and training in the inpatient/outpatient settings to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals
• Interact with their academic and basic science colleagues in the Division of Rheumatology and the Department of Medicine as part of their employment; this includes but is not limited to attending division and departmental faculty meetings, serving on committees; working to solve /address quality concerns and attending grand rounds
