General Laborer (Building Demolition & Clean-Out)

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Olney Area)
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary/Project-Based

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to assist with the interior demolition and clean-out of an older office building in the Olney area of Philadelphia. This is a hands-on position requiring physical labor, attention to safety, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities include dismantling office cubicles, removing carpeting, clearing debris, moving materials, and assisting with various demolition and site clean-up tasks.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and remove office cubicles, furniture, and fixtures
• Pull up and remove carpet and flooring materials
• Assist with interior demolition and building clean-out activities
• Load, move, and dispose of debris and materials as directed
• Use basic hand and power tools safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all job site safety procedures and supervisor instructions
• Perform other general labor duties as needed

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout an 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Reliable transportation to the job site
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work safely in a demolition/construction environment
• Previous construction, demolition, moving, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required

Hiring Requirements

• Background check required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must wear appropriate work boots and work attire

• Opportunity for additional projects based on performance
