CDL Truck Driver Recent Grads Are Welcome
Overview
18 Wheels USA is seeking full-time W2 Class A CDL drivers, including candidates with limited or no professional driving experience through a paid Class A training program. Positions are available across OTR, regional, and dedicated fleets, primarily east of I-35. The company provides steady freight, reliable home time, late-model equipment, and comprehensive benefits beginning on day one.
What we offer

Training program (for candidates with limited or no experience)
- Paid three to fiveweek training for recent CDL school graduates who meet the minimum instruction requirement (at least 120 hours).
- Training includes safe tractortrailer operation, compliant ELD use, trip reporting, pretrip/posttrip inspections, and company procedures.
- Progress is assessed through supervised driving and competency evaluations prior to solo assignments.
Typical duties
- Safely operate a Class A tractortrailer in accordance with DOT and company regulations.
- Haul primarily notouch dry van freight (approximately 70% dropandhook) for customers across the Eastern U.S.
- Manage schedules to meet pickup and delivery commitments and maintain ontime performance.
- Maintain accurate ELD logs, trip reports, and DVIRs.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Perform daily pretrip and posttrip inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
Minimum qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL, or recent CDL school graduate who has completed at least 120 hours of instruction and is eligible for company training.
- Satisfactory driving record demonstrating a commitment to safety.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and preemployment drug screen.
