Surgical Technologist

No weekends, overnights, holidays, or on call! Busy (3) OR & (1) Procedure Room ASC that specializes in ophthalmology, retina, ENT, ortho, pain management and podiatry for pediatric and adult patients. Every first, third (and fifth) Friday off unless there is scheduled education or inventory!

REQUIREMENTS :

• A graduate of an accredited Surgical technologist program.
• Certification and BLS required.
• Prefer one year of surgical experience in the Operating Room but willing to train.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : 

Surgical Technologists, also called scrubs and surgical or operating room technicians, assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Surgical technologists are members of operating room teams, which most commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses.
