Accountant

In this Accountant position, you'll be responsible for a range of financial processes including accounts payable, receivables, and general ledger activities. You'll also gain hands-on experience with financial statement analysis and support month-end close procedures. Accountant Key responsibilities include:

• Managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and purchase orders
• Handing check deposits and cash application
• Navigating customer and government portals for invoicing purposes
• Preparing, analyzing, and reconciling financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Recording journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and supporting month-end closing
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Maintaining meticulous financial records and documentation

Accountant Qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a staff accountant
• Solid understanding of accrual accounting methods
• Deep knowledge of balance sheets, reconciliations, and accounting principles
• Experience with MS Office with strong Excel and QuickBooks skills
• Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration
• Adaptability to new software and technology
