**Job Title: Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
In this role, you will play a critical part in our warehouse operations by efficiently handling the movement, storage, and loading of high-quality communication and connectivity products. You will be responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, with certification preferred, a strong commitment to teamwork, and the ability to troubleshoot shipping and receiving issues. **Responsibilities**
+ Operate sit-down forklifts to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
+ Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of shipment processing.
+ Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times.
+ Troubleshoot shipping and receiving issues as they arise.
+ Support and contribute to our customer-centric mission and operational excellence.
**Essential Skills**
+ Forklift operation, particularly sit-down forklifts.
+ Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
+ Capability to lift up to 60 lbs.
+ Forklift certification is preferred.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 5+ years of operations, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred.
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
+ Proven experience in warehouse management, including managerial roles.
+ General competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and prioritize assignments effectively.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
