We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Programmer / Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components and tooling that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, high-quality outputs, and continuous improvement in machining operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technologies and contribute to innovative projects across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write CNC programs using SurfCam software, ensuring optimal machining strategies for CNC milling machines and CNC lathes
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce precise parts and tooling
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machinery, including mills and lathes, maintaining high standards of safety and quality
• Fabricate custom tooling and fixtures
• Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions
• Maintain detailed documentation of machining processes, inspection reports, and setup procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience programming and operating CNC machines (milling machines and lathes) in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge of machining processes, tooling fabrication, and materials such as aluminum
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software SurfCam and generating CNC programs
• Ability to read schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dial indicators
• Understanding of manufacturing principles including machining tolerances, GD&T standards, and safety protocols
• Excellent math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds & speeds, and tolerances
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficiently
• Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on experience in manual machining and hand tools for assembly or fabrication tasks

Our design department will work one on one with you to design an aesthetically pleasing and cost effective package or tray. Our Tooling department will produce the prototype tool and production will produce the samples for approval. Once approved our own tooling department will design and produce the production tooling for your package.
