Who is R3 Waiver?

R3 Waiver is a provider agency authorized by the Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) to provide support to individuals in Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, who receive what is today referred to as “waiver funding.”

We are a small and dedicated staff trained and committed to helping the people we support contribute to their communities and develop skills for living independently.

*** We are looking for support for 7 different individuals all in the Upper Bucks area.

Specific Job Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
• Completion of pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks.
• Applicants with degrees in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or other related disciplines are encouraged to apply.

What DSPs do:

DSPs partner with individuals to help them achieve their outcomes identified in their Individual Support Plan (ISP). This may include:

• Helping someone take care of a home, manage their finances, or learn to cook.
• Exercising, taking walks, swimming, playing a sport like pickleball or basketball together to help someone achieve a physical fitness goal.
• Going places with a person so that they can safely explore new interests, such as gaming or bowling, or so they have the opportunity to order, pay, or ask for help in various settings.
• Volunteering together as a means of improving social interaction skills or to feel a sense of purpose and connection to communities in need.
• Helping someone study for a driver’s permit, so they can one day get a driver’s license, thereby increasing the opportunities available to them.
• Providing hands-on personal care and giving a person the support they need to continue to live in a family home.
