Job Description

Join a pioneering team that operates a closed-loop system recycling post-production polycarbonate and PVC scrap. This innovative process repurposes over 13,000 tons annually into new, durable thermoplastic products, significantly reducing waste and lowering the ecological impact of manufacturing. As a General Laborer, you will support various functions of the production line, including palletizing and performing quality inspections on plastic sheets used for Plexiglass, crucial in supporting businesses, schools, and restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery within a closed-loop recycling system.
• Support different functions of the production line, such as palletizing.
• Perform quality inspections on plastic sheets.
• Assist in the production of plastic sheets for Plexiglass.
• Contribute to reducing waste and enhancing ecological sustainability.

Essential Skills

• Experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of production and safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in manufacturing or production.
• Experience with production line operations, general labor, material handling, replenishments, unloading, and loading.
• Ability to adapt to a 24/7 manufacturing schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Smithsville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.50/hr.
