Travel Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN – Psych)

Shift: Nights – 12 Hours (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Schedule: Weekend rotations required

Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Psychiatric RN for a 10-week night shift assignment in Westfield, Pennsylvania. This inpatient behavioral health facility provides both acute detox and residential treatment services to an adult population.

Unit & Facility Details:

• Inpatient behavioral health facility

• 64 beds (expanding to 94 beds)

• Two units:

• Detox Unit

• Residential Treatment Unit

• Adult population

• Accepts both voluntary and involuntary admissions

  Staffing Ratios:

  • Detox Unit: 1 RN : 7 patients

  • Residential Unit: 1 RN : 24 patients

  • Staffing support per shift:

  • 1 BHT per shift

  • Up to 1 BHA per shift

  • Therapeutic staff ratio 1:8 (available until 5:00 PM only)

  Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, therapeutic nursing care to psychiatric patients

  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses

  • Perform assessments and ongoing documentation

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary behavioral health team

  • Float to other units as needed

  Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Minimum 1 year of current psychiatric or comparable experience

  • SNF or Home Health experience will not be considered

  • Willingness to float between units as needed

  • Charting System: HCS
