Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN to join the Open Heart Intensive Care Unit (OHICU) team on a travel assignment. This is a highly specialized ICU position catering to critically ill and postoperative cardiothoracic patients. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Manage invasive hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Monitor and intervene with arrhythmias and advanced cardiac life support
- Oversee pacemaker/ICD management and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) management
- Administer Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and manage ventricular assist devices (VAD)
- Perform Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) procedures
Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- EPIC charting system experience required
