Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, detailed-oriented, and growth-minded Crew Members to join our team. As a Store Crew Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our grocery store. You will be responsible for assisting customers, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized environment, and assisting with various store operations including our Balikbayan Box Service, E-Commerce, Take-Out Foods and Catering, and Remittance Services. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail setting and have a passion for delivering quality service.

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed appealingly.
- Perform product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales.
- Upsell/Cross-Sell products by effectively communicating their benefits to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store, including aisles and checkout areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks.

- Support Balikbayan Box packing and shipping processes

- Fulfill e-commerce orders and assist with online customer inquiries

- Prepare and package takeout food orders

- Promote Filipino culture, products, and services to customers

- Assist in Social Media posting and communications with customers.

Skills
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience operating cash registers.
- Knowledge of retail math to assist with pricing and inventory management.
- Ability to upsell products effectively through excellent communication skills.
- Experience with product demos to enhance customer engagement.
- Strong computer skills on Email, Microsoft Office, PDFs, Shopify, Computer Operations, Texting/MMS, Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, etc), CRMs.
- A customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous retail, customer service, Online Order Fulfillment, or food service experience preferred, but not required

- Knowledge of Filipino language and culture is a plus

- ServSafe certified is preferred but not required.

- Experience with Shopify, Microsoft Office, Social Media Posting, Canva, ChatGPT or other AI platforms, CRMs.
