Job Title: Registered Nurse – Occupational Health

Location: Columbia, PA

Duration: 18 Weeks

Schedule: 2nd & 3rd Shift Coverage

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Occupational Health, Employee Health, Primary Care, or Preventive Services to support an onsite workplace health clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience in employee wellness programs, biometric screenings, vaccination clinics, and occupational health services while delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct post-offer and pre-employment physical examinations
• Administer vaccines, immunizations, and occupational health laboratory services
• Perform urine drug screenings for DOT and non-DOT requirements
• Conduct Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT)
• Complete return-to-work and fit-for-duty evaluations
• Perform lift testing, pulmonary function testing, and respirator fit testing
• Support hearing conservation and workplace wellness initiatives
• Provide first aid treatment and workplace injury/exposure care
• Assist with flu clinics, biometric screenings, and employee health coaching
• Schedule follow-up appointments with healthcare providers as needed
• Support occupational health services for 2nd and 3rd shift employees
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with occupational health protocols and workplace safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania RN License or Compact RN License
• 2–3 years of experience in Occupational Health, Employee Health, Primary Care, or Preventive Services
• Experience administering flu shots and conducting biometric screenings
• Experience with:
  • Drug screenings
  • Respirator fit testing
  • Vaccination programs
  • Workplace injury care
  • Biometric screenings
• Experience using Athena EMR
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinic setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• DOT screening experience
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace health standards
• Experience with employee wellness and health coaching programs
