Overnight Home-Based Direct Support Professional (DSP) | $19.50/HR + $1,000 Signing Bonus

Abound Health is seeking compassionate, dependable Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in their homes and communities. About the Role

As a DSP, you will provide one-on-one support that helps individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity. This position is ideal for someone patient, reliable, and passionate about helping others thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development
• Assist with recreational and community activities
• Follow treatment plans and document progress
• Provide companionship and respite care
• Submit documentation and payroll on time
• Participate in ongoing training
• Assist with personal care needs as required
• Work independently in home and community settings

What We’re Looking For

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal-care and behavioral-support needs
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background checks
• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed

Compensation

• $19.50 per hour
• $1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates

Schedule

We currently have clients in West Middlesex and Mercer, PA needing support during the following hours:

• Monday–Thursday and Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Additional flexible hours may be available.

Experience

• 1 year of caregiving experience preferred

Signing Bonus Details

• $333 after 90 days (minimum 20 hours/week)
• $333 after 6 months (minimum 20 hours/week)
• $334 after 1 year (minimum 20 hours/week)

Bonus not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider (RAP) hires. Applicants must not have worked for Abound Health or its affiliates within the past 18 months.
