Accountant I – Job Description

The Accountant I position will aid in the financial reporting to executive management, ensure financial results are accurate and in accordance with US GAAP, and demonstrate the core ISC competencies of humble, hungry, and smart.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Aid in month end closing process.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure general ledger reliability.
• Reconcile daily cash receipts and payments to the bank.
• Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance testing.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Assist with sales tax exemption process.
• Assist with fixed asset management.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
• Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite or similar ERP systems (preferred).
• Internship or prior work experience in accounting (preferred).
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exhibits organizational skills.
• Has strong ethical conduct.
• Is an effective and collaborative team member.
• Adheres to tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willing to work extended hours during month-end close.
• Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 47,500.00 - 88,100.00
