Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Strip District

• Start Date: early September through mid-January
• Hours: Monday to Friday, hours typically between 8 am to 2 pm (schedule known in advance) | All Steeler Sunday home games; Guaranteed hours: 25 hours/week
• Hourly Rate: $25-31/hr
• Children: 7-month-old baby
• Paid Vacation: Accrued with time at the rate of one day per month (approximately three days of the family’s choice, three days of the nanny’s choice) plus all major holidays that fall on a workday is paid.

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: Are you a cheerful, game-day-ready nanny who loves being part of a dynamic family team? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing schedule and know how to call the perfect play when caring for a happy, active baby? This warm, welcoming family lives in Pittsburgh’s lively Strip District and is looking for an MVP-level nanny to join them Monday to Friday, 8 am to 2 pm. Plus, they’d love your presence at the game on Sunday Steelers home games — so if you can bring your A-game to those extra shifts, you’ll be a star player in their eyes! Flexibility is key in this role. The family receives their schedule weekly and needs a nanny who can adjust and pivot like a pro. Mom holds the most important job of all — being present for her little one. She’ll be around to share in the sweet, everyday moments right alongside you. She is ultra-organized and appreciates a teammate who’s dependable, clear in communication, and ready to roll with the punches (or, in this case, the game-day schedules!). The star rookie of the family? A smiley, social 7-month-old who’s already working on those solid-food “touchdowns” and lights up during playtime. You’ll be in charge of feeding, diapering, naps, and keeping those giggles coming with songs, stories, and lots of interactive fun. When the baby is resting on the sidelines, you’ll tackle light household duties related to baby care — think washing bottles, tidying up the nursery, and folding teeny tiny laundry. No pet care needed, and you won’t need to know how to swim (though extra points if you love the pool!). This job will require driving for different occasions, and a parking spot will be provided. This is a short-term position running from September 2025 through January 2026 — perfect for someone ready to jump in for a special season and make a big impact.
