Best Line Equipment is currently seeking a Class A CDL Driver at our Uniontown, PA location. The position is responsible for the safe transport of construction and industrial equipment, such as aerial lifts and excavating equipment, to and from customer sites as well as other locations within the company.

Job Overview:

• Load and unload equipment to/from the vehicle which may involve operating a forklift, climbing ladders, walking on top of a vehicle and moving equipment.
• Check the vehicle to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting heavy or larger equipment.
• Inspect loads before departure to ensure the equipment is secure for safe travel.
  
• Reconciling truck shipping and loading documents including DOT documents-logbook and pre-trip inspection sheets
• Ability to work with customers in solving their equipment needs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CDL-A driver's license.
• Ability to pass DOT physical exam.
• Knowledge of equipment weights and dimensions as well as capabilities of our vehicles and equipment.
• A minimum of one to three years driving experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to sit for 30 minutes to 2 hours while driving, ability to stand for 30 minutes to 1 hour while loading/unloading vehicle and the ability to walk to and from the vehicle (50 to 300 feet at one time).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $56,000.00 - $62,000.00 annually (dependent on experience)
