Job DescriptionTHE POSITION :
The Data Privacy Manager will support the Privacy Office in maintaining and maturing EVERSANAs privacy program to minimize risk and maintain the confidentiality of personal data on a global basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:
- Assist in developing and/or maintaining privacy related policies and procedures
- Provide support for implementation of new privacy laws and requirements
- Assist with data subject requests, as needed
- Participate in the Core Privacy Team and support incident investigations of all potential privacy incidents, including documentation and investigation, root cause analysis, and HIPAA breach analysis
- Conduct privacy risk assessments to identify potential privacy non-compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Information Security, Quality, Compliance to embed privacy related requirements within new and existing processes, projects and teams
- Work with Data Privacy Champions to raise awareness of privacy throughout the organization
- Assist the business with documenting Records of Processing activities
- Assist the DPO with embedding a Privacy By Design framework through working knowledge of IT applications, infrastructure and architecture to reduce data privacy risk
- Assist in managing privacy notice revisions and processes
- Create and maintain various privacy KPIs
- Assess privacy risk in Artificial Intelligence projects or platforms

QualificationsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant studies in related field or equivalent work experience required.
- 5-7 years in a privacy role
- IAPP certified: CIPM, CIPP/US, or CIPT preferred
- Experience with privacy laws including GDPR, US state and federal privacy laws (HIPAA,HITECH), PIPEDA, and APAC Privacy laws
- Experience in healthcare privacy or health science industry
- Experience with data privacy platforms such as OneTrust
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to get along well with others, build relationships and interact with a variety of people and situations
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills

The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $84,000 to $117,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
