Overview
We are seeking a Senior Production Operator to support a global Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) specializing in GMP micronization and milling for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. This position supports day-to-day pharmaceutical processing and material handling in a regulated manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and cGMP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee processing equipment used in pharmaceutical production
• Follow batch records, SOPs, and cGMP standards to ensure compliance and quality
• Perform equipment setup, breakdown, cleaning, and basic maintenance activities
• Record production data, material usage, and any deviations accurately
• Support material receipt, storage, and inventory control processes
• Prepare raw materials for production and assist with internal material transfers
• Assist with weighing, labeling, and packaging of finished products
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production and warehouse environment
• Work cross-functionally with quality, maintenance, and logistics teams
• Adhere to rotating shift schedules, including occasional weekend coverage
• Support additional operational tasks as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma with 5+ years of GMP manufacturing experience, specifically in granulation, milling, or compounding processes, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Chemical Engineering or similar
• Technical or vocational training is a plus
• Prior experience in regulated pharmaceutical or related manufacturing environments preferred
• Forklift or material handling experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a controlled or cleanroom environment and perform physical tasks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
