Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager will manage all maintenance activities including breakdowns, preventative maintenance, the stocking of critical machinery parts, manage and maintain all company facilities and new equipment procurement. Supervise all maintenance associates. Ensure the technical compatibility of all tooling and operational procedures with machine capabilities. Position will also play a vital role in Continuous Improvement activities and the Operations Management Team.

Essential Functions/Accountabilities:

· Responsible for the management of maintenance operations for all equipment, product handling/conveying equipment, forklifts and general facilities maintenance

· Identifying and ordering the correct parts and supplies for overall maintenance of the plant and all the machines/tools

· Establishes and manages preventive maintenance and continuous improvement of maintenance processes

· Maintains service logs, corrective maintenance and use the ticketing system to track and monitor maintenance requests

· Advises maintenance personnel in completing their assigned tasks as required to ensure deadlines are met, including but not limited to electrical, fabrication, equipment repair, and other general facility maintenance

· Responsible for training, coaching and development, and performance reviews

· Responsible for managing emergency maintenance tasks that might occur after hours or on weekends.

· Contribute to the company’s safety committee as one of the representatives of the plant

Requirements:

· Associates Degree with strong background in a manufacturing maintenance or related technical field or equivalent experience.

· 5 Years' experience managing a maintenance department for a manufacturing facility

· Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

· Union experience preferred, but not required

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to effectively interface with vendors and technical representatives

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
