URGENTLY HIRING a Maintenance Technician for a property in North Versailles!!!

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance of apartment properties. Under the guidance of the Property Manager and Property Director, the technician will manage day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure a well-functioning and safe community environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete all maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Execute the make-ready process for vacant apartments as directed by the Property Manager.
• Work within established expense limits.
• Schedule and complete the Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Coordinate special projects as directed by the Property Manager.
• Monitor and maintain all building systems as designed.
• Ensure compliance with all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
• Perform essential duties including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, painting, and basic HVAC repairs.
• Repair and treat structures such as showers, appliances, doors, cabinets, drywall, building exteriors, windows, and fences.
• Handle apartment unit turnovers for occupancy.
• Implement various flooring solutions from sub-floors to finished products.
• Occasionally clean out furniture, garbage, and debris from vacant units.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 to 4 years of related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in carpentry, basic electrical, light plumbing, masonry, painting, and basic HVAC repairs.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Professionalism in approaching others tactfully and reacting well under pressure.
• Ability to treat others with respect and consideration.
• Dependability in keeping commitments and completing tasks on time.
• Ability to exert 50-100 lbs. of force occasionally, 30-50 lbs. of force frequently, and 15-25 lbs. of force constantly.
• Willingness to relocate to North Versailles, PA before starting work.

Work Environment

The role involves exposure to outside weather conditions and requires the ability to lift and move heavy objects. You will be responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as directed, and will carry a cell phone for on-call maintenance duties.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of North Versailles, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
