We are looking for Buyer, Associate to join our team in Newtown, PA!
As a Buyer, you will contribute significantly to the organization, bridging supplier relationship and procurement needs to support the development of our industry leading products within the aerospace flight test and monitoring instrumentation solutions space.
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, and collaborative team, working closely with a planning, purchasing, program, engineering, and production.
Location Newtown, PA
Salary Range: *$* 25.38 - 32.00 USD Hourly plus bonus

Your Challenge
-
Measuring supplier performance to KPIs and maintains ongoing initiative to improve supplier performance to minimum standards of performance.

Review and Manage OOR Reports (Open order reports) extracted from SAP and escalation Lists for key suppliers.

Participate in supplier calls with the team or independently & update delivery commitments per direction from planning in SAP.

Identifying and escalating ongoing supplier issues to the Manager / Team as appropriate.

Provide support to Procurement / Planning with Supporting Documentation as required.

Highlight and communicate DPAS Ratings that are required For Purchase Orders/Escalation Lists.

Managing within the ERP / MRP master schedule and maintains accuracy of the material plan. Monitoring all exception messages and drives plan exceptions to a minimum.

Leading process changes / improvements in alignment with best purchasing practices including documentation, implementation, compliance, and KPI implementation.

Participate in negotiations to ensure improvements in purchase price variances to standard for direct spend items, and indirect spend item cost reductions.

Proactively works to maintain master schedule integrity by working to bring material in to meet revenue plan wherever possible and elevates issues immediately in the event of plan failure.
What You Bring

Degree/Diploma in Supply chain/ Business/ Finance is preferred.

Experience with Electronics, Machining, and knowledge of PWB/ PCB's.

Experience/compliance with AS9100 requirements.

Good working knowledge of SAP.

Well organized, good working knowledge of Excel and strong in math
-
Effective communicator/ good communication/ written skills and well versed with MS outlook
