Precision CNC Milling & Turning Specialist

At our New Kensington, PA site, Re:Build brings advanced manufacturing back to the U.S. through technology, operational excellence, and smart M&A. We are a fast-moving team where people stretch, learn, and contribute across industries from aerospace and defense to medical and nuclear.

A day in this role

You arrive for your selected shift—1st SHIFT (7am-3:30pm) or 2nd SHIFT (3pm-11:30pm)—and jump into precision work on multi-axis mills and lathes. You’ll set up jobs, build or select tooling, dial in fixtures, and run parts to tight tolerances. Drawings, BOMs, and detailed work instructions guide your process, while you document inspections, follow the process routing, and keep quality central. Before you clock out, you’ll complete preventive maintenance and leave your area clean for the next run.

What you’ll make happen

• End-to-end CNC operations: set-up, fixturing, tool building, and running parts for turning and 3- and 5-axis vertical/horizontal milling
• Machining to spec using drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and safety procedures
• Adherence to Quality Management System procedures and forms
• In-process checks and recorded inspection results per routing
• Daily PM and housekeeping of work center

What you bring

• Hands-on precision CNC experience in programming and/or execution across metals, alloys, plastics, and composites
• Preferred: Milling exposure (3-axis, 3+2, 4-axis, Full 5-axis)
• Preferred: Turning exposure (Mill-turn, traditional lathe, swiss lathe)
• Apprenticeship or Associate’s Degree preferred
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOMs, and work aids
• Solid math and measurement fundamentals: algebra, geometry, decimals, fractions, and use of measuring tools
